Three top favorites of the Quebec release include:
- UI Builder allows the creation of experience in the Platform to design and craft pages for workspace, portal or custom web experiences using custom web components. A sample is provided on the docs site with supporting instructions. This takes the prior Service Portal experience to a new level for easier customization and variety while modernizing the availability of out of the box web components.
- A Universal Request is now available for task fulfillment. This feature is provided from various supporting plugins for any basic request. Some of these plugins are cost attributed. Single request experience, enterprise security, cross-department ticket transfers and employee tasking or any other task fulfillment can be easily created from this new offering.
- NLQ or Natural Query Builder for lists which presents a new icon (… speech/dialogue bubble) located towards the top of a list, and next to the funnel/filter icon streamlines queries or breadcrumb generation. Clicking on the icon, invokes the availability of dynamic suggestions (incidents opened or assigned by me). These can be built on top of or utilized as a starting/jumping off point for composing queries with guidance and search value recommendations. Tips for improving results is a menu for self-guidance that is also tucked into this feature which provides a nice and polished touch.
