At the time of sale, SGIS had over 800 employees and 14 offices nationwide and had been ranked the 2nd fastest growing private government contractor in the country by Washington Technology Magazine. Joe has over 20 years experience helping scale education, technology and training organizations across North America and Europe. Previous roles include COO and Executive Vice President of Partnerships at Revature and senior leadership positions with Pearson and Blackboard. Joe holds an Honors degree in Information Systems and Business Administration from the University of Northampton, and started his career as a software developer in London.

Aanand is a Managing Director at Achieve Partners, a private equity firm focused on “learning and earning.” Aanand primarily focuses on making investments into and acquisitions of business services, technology services and healthcare services companies that are committed to narrowing the “skills gap” through building custom pathways to economic opportunity into their product offerings.

Suzette Kent is a global business transformation executive and, most recently, served as the Federal Chief Information Officer for the United States. She currently leads her own advisory business through which she continues strategic transformation work with clients around the world, across industries, and in the public and private sectors. Throughout her career, her focus has always centered on ways that technology can be leveraged to solve challenges.

Carter is internationally recognized for his cross-sector successes in philanthropy, education and technology. He is currently managing principal of Expectant Advisory and the executive director of the Aspen Institute Socrates Program. Carter will advise SkillStorm on strategies to create organizational cultures where all are given the opportunity to belong and thrive, with a strategic focus on Skillstorm’s NexGen, IT Apprenticeship and Accelerator Programs.

Neil ensures our customer’s technology skillset demands are being met. Previous roles include sales and account management at the ION Group. Neil has 15 years of experience in sales and account management within software companies. Bachelor’s in computer science from the University of Western Ontario and MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut. Neil also holds several executive certifications from the Harvard Law School.

Ben leads our legal function and serves as corporate secretary to the company’s board of directors. Major in the Air Force Reserve Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) and is currently the general counsel to the Commander of the 622nd Civil Engineering Group at Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Over 16 years of military service including Active Duty Army service as an enlisted combat medic. Bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University and a juris doctorate degree from the Duquesne University School of Law.

Alan brings deep expertise to our recruitment of exceptional talent. Prior to SkillStorm Joe held senior leadership positions with both Robert Half International and Allegis Group. Joe graduated from Fork Union Military Academy as a sergeant and received his bachelors degree from Eastern Kentucky University.

Victor joined SkillStorm in 2008 as a recruiter. After successfully completing his CPA, Victor transitioned into an accounting role in 2011, being promoted to Financial Controller in 2018. Victor brings a broad understanding of all facets of the Skillstorm’s business including recruiting, sales, delivery, HR and finance. Victor is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a MBA from Florida Atlantic University.

David is responsible for growing and managing business with the clients and partners of Pegasystems, Inc. Prior roles include: Global Vice President for training, enablement, and ecosystem development at Pegasystems; Global Head of Industry Solutions Marketing at EMC Corporation (now Dell Technologies). MBA in Marketing from Boston College, serves on the Board of Directors at Trinity Boston Connects, and is also active in Bates College’s Alumni in Admission and the Boston College Technology and Entrepreneurship Council.

David is a senior level executive change agent with experience in startups, strategic partnerships, systems thinking/integration and culture integration for both private and public sectors. Demonstrable success creating public/private educational partnerships that are technology driven and enable lifelong learners to achieve their educational and career goals in both the public and private sectors. David holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Central College, an M.Div. in Religious Studies from Texas Christian University, and an M.A. in Health, Exercise and Sport Science from University of the Pacific.

Natalie joined SkillStorm in 2019 and is responsible for the recruitment team for the NexGen division. She has 10 plus years of experience in both recruiting and leadership. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from St John’s University.

John was a Marine for 28 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He brings experience as Chief of Staff and a decade on Wall Street to SkillStorm. Most recently John developed and lead a globally recognized program that successfully upskilled many transitioning military and veterans. At SkillStorm, he’ll direct the expansion of this strategic initiative. John graduated from Seton Hall University with a Communication Degree and was also on their basketball team, playing in the Big East Conference.

Lauren joined SkillStorm in 2020 and is responsible for the marketing execution and strategy for the sales and recruitment teams. Prior to SkillStorm, she worked for a large RPO organization, managing lead generation and overall marketing support for the sales team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a focus in Journalism from the University of North Florida.

Taylor joined SkillStorm in 2018 and is responsible for Delivery and Recruitment across many of our clients. Prior to SkillStorm, she worked in Recruiting, Business Development, and Account Management for large global organizations. Taylor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a focus in Forensic Science from East Carolina University.

Presley embraces his role as a commercial leader, he also considers himself a utility player who enjoys helping others leverage technology to improve outcomes. Prior to joining SkillStorm, Presley spent time at an advanced analytics startup as the SVP of Sales. The majority of Presley’s career was spent in Professional Services, including small, bespoke technology solutions all the way to large ERP and EHR implementations Presley is a native Houstonian for 37 years. He received a BA at Texas Tech University in Lubbock where he majored in Economics.

John has trained more than 100 software engineers using immersive training curriculums in preparation of the students moving directly onto a client project and through a variety of training modalities for corporate technical training engagements. John was part of a team of trainers responsible for training over 1,000 internal client employees in the United States, Europe, and Asia in the second quarter of 2021. John has earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in computer science – app/game development. John holds numerous certifications and has experience in several development languages.
